Still Performance on RX 100 models
Oct 6, 2019
I currently have an RX 100 iii, which has worked well for me but it has a problem and I need to replace it. My big question is whether it makes any sense to go for a much pricier later model, such as the RX 100 vii, when I actually use the camera only for stills photography and don't use advanced camera features. Is there any difference at all in the quality of stills images with the later versions, because when I read reviews they seem to focus, if you will excuse the pun, on various video enhancements. Given that the RX 100 viii is literally three times the price of the RX 100 iii, I want to understand whether it is worth the price difference if I am only taking stills (some in quite low light). Thanks in advance for any advice.
