If the NX1 came out today...

Just reading through the specs, nothing on the market (except the XT3) comes close even though the camera is now 5 years old.

Here are some of the specs that either all other APSC cameras or most APSC cameras lack today.

Effective pixels 28 megapixels (Only Canon is higher)
Sensor type BSI-CMOS (no one else has BSI)
Screen dots 1,036,000 (some recent "premium" cameras are only 921,600)
Touch screen -Touch AF/shutter, menus, image playback (one brand still lacks Touch AF)
Screen type Super AMOLED (everyone else has LCD)
Maximum shutter speed 1/8000 sec (still a lot are 1/4000)
Continuous drive 15.0 fps (I think XT3 is 20 fps)
4096 x 2160 (24p) - (Most lack DCI 4K and only offer 3840 x 2160)
Format H.265 - (most still only offer H.264)
Uncompressed 4K output over HDMI (4:2:2) - (Most only offer 4:2:0)
Storage types SD/SDHC/SDXC (UHS-I/II) (most lack USH-II support)
USB USB 3.0 (5 GBit/sec) - (Most are still USB 2.0)

Anyway, Samsung probably made the right choice.   All the money today is in smartphones.  Oh well.

For the record, I have a friend who is a wedding photographer who shoots with the NX1, the 85/1.4 and the two S lenses.    He has 3 NX1 with grips.
