Honestly i dont see the point in paying 5 times the money for Image stabilization. I know the 28mm f1,8 is not sharp at 1.8, but the 50mm f1.8 has the same problem and you can deal with it.

What bugs me on the 28mm 1.8 is more the borders that many report never get sharps.

I will experiment by myself if (andwhen) i find a good deal.
