Did you really need 1/2000 sec for a street scene (not that I take many)?

The light was dim and I needed to freeze the subjects.

1/250 would have done it.

My experience is that 1/250 isn't fast enough to stop motion from people AND the shooter, with the GX85 and the 15/1.7.  I do agree 1/2000 was a bit fast, but I don't think ALLCAPS has been using that set up much so it will take a few sessions to find the sweet spot.

If I MUST STOP action, then I set it at 1/1000 and I haven't had an issue.  If the action is a bit slower 1/640 works pretty well, but I have to be stationary.
