I don't consider them underexposed. I see them as exposed for Post processing, where you expose for the highlights, and pull the shadows in pp. This sort of exposure gives you the best chance at recovering the most details in pp.

That said there is a balance, I would have given up a bit of the highlights to recapture more of the shadows. But I am familiar with the limitations of that sensor. Even so, he was still able to recover a usable photo in the end.

Thank you.

When I shoot street, I underexpose 90% of the time, knowing I'm going to recover some detail in PP. I need a fast SS, as I'm moving and at times even the subject as these pics show.

All of them were shot on the move.

The 20MP sensor is noticeably better in how it renders noise and in better DR and high ISO performance.  I am hoping the next m43 sensor has more MP, better DR and high iso performance.

Otherwise it does what I want, 4k, small high quality optics, portable, decent battery life (with original batteries).  I have been tempted by fuji, but to be honest the lagging video and the slightly larger lenses have kept me away.  My GX8 is a keeper, but I can see an X100V in my future if they add usb, and higher MP sensor.
