Is this the best alternative to photoshop? I currently use DPP4 with my 80D, always shoot in RAW but the editing is so limited and so slow even with the most recent update. I want a program with a built in raw converter so I can do everything in one. Also with noise reduction. I'm looking at under £50. Thank you in advance!

Yes, Affinity Photo is excellent and you get Focus stacking, HDR, and Pano functionality as well as the usual edit capabilities. You also have the option of still using DPP4 for raw conversions and then editing a Tif file generated from DPP4.

AP does not come with a file browser as it just uses the Windows "Open File" dialogue box. However if you use Faststone browser to view your files you can use its "Edit with External Program" right click option to open the chosen file in AP, or send it to AP if it is alraedy open.

Faststone is an excellent file browser which is colour managed (set in CMS preferences) and you can get from:

To get you started with AP these short video tutorials are worth watching to give you some idea of the potential within AP.
