congrats !!

- Asked him what system is best. It depends, he said Nikon is struggling. Their camera system is super nice, but also expensive. Canon did a good job there with its RP. Sony is nice, but not for professionals regarding service. (we know)

any flesh around the "nikon struggling" quote ?

RP is popular in Japan and US, not sure about Europe as its too close to the Z6 in price which is far superior

I have seen alot of professionals using the A7/9 series. In fact possibly the majority recently. The market that Sony hasn't cracked yet is the 1D / 6D market for sports. Alot of this is down to lenses. I think the A9ii will close the gap but lets see

For amateurs (like me), I always look at glass first and bodies second. Canon already has some lovely inspirational glass, and the 15-30 and the 24-70 2.8 look great.

I would like a 28 and 35mm f1.4 and then a range of lighter/lower cost f2 and f1.8s

The jury is still out, but the Canon EOS-R as a package is very tempting

Enjoy your lens, and post some pictures ...

+ Can I see a picture of it on your camera
