Converting to jpeg--go with larger dimensions or higher quality?

I've been converting NEF files to jpeg with Capture NX-D.  I usually put them in a Flickr album.  I think I've been mostly choosing a mid size when converting and select "good quality".  But this still is leaving me with jpegs as large as 900mb.  And when enlarged, they do not look so sharp.

Should I instead convert and save them with larger dimensions and use more compression?  Thanks for any tips.
