Panasonic 200mm 2.8 vs 100-400mm if the former is cheaper?

I just got the 200mm 2.8 plus 1.4 TC ex demo with full warranty for £999 from a reputable dealer. I could exchange it with the same dealer for a brand new 100-400mm for £1199 with the same warranty, so a 20% uplift for the 'lesser" zoom lens.

I have no fixed use for either, airshows, dabble with wildlife, occasional unusual perspective landscape etc, to expand my repertoire. I may go on safari next year too.

Keep the gorgeous prime at a bargain price or pay more for the flexibility of the zoom?

What would you do?
