Hummingbird deformity?
2

I got this image of an Anna's Hummingbird at our feeder on Friday:

Something rather strange with its beak. Initially when I saw the first image with the "wavy" shape I thought it could be a form of rolling shutter. However: to see EXACTLY the same thing in EXACTLY the same place on a number of images is just way too much of a coincidence for any imaging idiosyncrasies I thought. One more example:

Image of a normal hummer, taken at approximately the same time:

I am curious: Has anybody seen this before? View at full size to get a better idea of the shape. I thought of (double!) posting this image on the Nature & Wildlife forum as well
