Panasonic FZ1000 M2/II Adobe ACR Issue (vignetting)
1

Adobe's auto correction of distortions (vignetting in this case) are incorrect and need to be corrected ASAP. For any f/stop other than f/8, there are clear incorrect built in parameters for vignetting correction.

This occurs only at max wide angle (9.1mm or 25mm equivalence) to about 28mm equivalent tapering off.

Blue skies show clear circular over correction by ACR to the point that it isn't correctable (I.E. images are damaged). F/8 shows much less but this is due to the fact that there is simply less inherent vignetting in images.

Adobe needs to correct this issue asap. Meantime, I'm looking for other raw converters.

Sloppy work Adobe.

Singular sample below shot at f/4. Clarity slider and contrast slider in ACR maximized to show the issue clearly in upper left and right portions of the images. Obviously circular, obviously corrected by Adobe. Sliders weren't moved for any other part of the conversion.

Jpegs do not show this issue near as badly.

(fyi, the FZ1000 II is a near perfect superzoom, much more pleasant to use than the FZ1000, and any of Sony's RX10 models) absolutely loving it!)
