Viewing photos on iPad pro

Hi, hope someone can help me out.
I have about 20.000 photos on an external ssd. So I can edit these photos on my iMac and Macbook. I use now Lightroom classic for editing. I would like to view the results on a iPad Pro. For that I have about 8.000 of my photos placed in collections to be synced with Lightroom. However these are all smart previews. I do a lot of macro photography and viewing those smart previews (on the iPad Pro) is not nice because there is missing al lot of details.
After I have edited the photos, I would like to view the edited photos on my iPad in good quality. So maybe a better solution is to export (with Lightroom classic) the edited photos to jpg and copy/move those jpg files to iCloud. From there I can view those photos on all my devices. Would this be a good solution or should I do something else?
