Re: The bastardized Realist. The Olden Special.

A 3-D projector does not fit my home space. At least not enough to dedicate the space and to paint a wall or set up a really good and not inexpensive screen. We have no basements here. And frankly I love stereo but not enough to want to collect a lot of movies which are getting scarcer on the market. Actually I want this: To find a group that has a set up and would allow patrons to watch a series of 3-D Blu Rays for a fee or membership. I would enjoy Kiss Me Kate, but I do not need to own it.

The 3-D TV was reaching a good point with even passive display. So i have read.  My neest DVD player can handle all formats of stereo, a high end Sony with foresight I thought...then poof gone. LG, Sony, Samsung, they all gave it up even though it costs little to provide same... Now even new films are rarer release in stereo here or for a brief period. Something more global is happening and I guess we are the breed apart which I am kind used to...You shoot stereo?   Is that camera ( the Realist) made in Germany says a Japanese in Yokohama.

But I have had fun. And still have a lot of good viewers. Digital on line photos are a bare shell of a good chrome in a good achromat viewer. Sole viewing you say? Well, reality is for the sole eyeballs I reply..

Yours in depth, Gerry with a G
