Does not really need computerised go-to but will need a

red dot finder

whats that?

Red dot finder is a sight to help you locate objects in the sky. You look through the piece where it shines a red dot or cross hairs and you align that dot or cross hair with the object you want to image.

You need to know a bit about the night sky and where these various objects are though.

Wow. That must be the Ferrari of red-dot finders. There are some less expensive options, like this Kia and this Hyundai. (I would have said Chevy and Ford, but these things are made in the Orient.) These examples look to be the same, actually, with only a minor difference in price.

Aren't Kia and Hyundai made in the same factory too? (Just to complete the analogy.)
