Terlingua & Santa Elena Canyon (IR X-T1 and X-H1 shot)

Terlinqua Ghost Town Cemetery - IR Shot

I spent the last three days in Terlingua due to my car's alternator failing. As my good luck would have it, it failed Friday evening after the only garage in Terlinqua was closed and I had to wait until Monday morning to see if they could handle the job. So, while I was there, I thought I would do a bit of photography. Had to rent a $200 a day Jeep to get around while my car was waiting for repair.

I recently had my Fuji X-T1 converted to IR and brought it with me to test it out. This is one of my first IR shots with the converted camera. Still playing with post but I did see beautiful shots with and IR camera at https://www.bestlightcollection.com/ at a recent art show in Dallas. I liked the look and I am trying to achieve the same look and feel... just beginning.. my first attempt...we'll see how things go. Fuji X-T1 with 18mm lens. IR conversion 850nm.

Also, here is a shot of Santa Elena Canyon taken with the X-H1 and 16-55. This is a 5 image bracket merged in Lightroom. I did not arrive until mid afternoon and the sun was .. well, you can see. This should really have been a shot taken in the morning.. but I take what I can get.
