The X-Tx series ergonomics vs others

I am lusting an X-T2 since long time, was almost going to jump on the X-H1 + 16-55 deal but gave up that idea for a few reasons nonetheless the lack of a dedicated upper dial for exposure compensation which is one of the features I love the most about ML cameras.

Well, back to the subject, exposure modes, exposure compensations, shooting mode and ISO settings all handy and no menus to reach them out, as simple as it could be almost like my old and reliable Nikon F and F3 and better than them, why don't other brands adapt same layout for their cameras?

Maybe the Nikon DF?! A futile exercise at revitalizing old film cameras, Image Quality aside it's not for me, who else with Fuji X-T ergonomics???
