50mm F1.2L focusing issues

Hi guys, I own a 50mm f1.2 for a few years now, and I love it. Unfortunately it is not consistent, or very sharp. I use it with Canon 6D.

I know it's not the sharpest lens, and I know it's supposed to be a little inconsistent, but I've gotten to the point that I'm afraid of using it...

When I need , to make shure I get a sharp image I use my Tamron 24-70 mkii (how sad is this?)

My wife's 50mm f1.4 is a lot sharper wide open.

I did some micro-adjusting at home, and focus was spot on  but then, out in the field, it misses focus a lot. It's not even the sharpening issue, I don't really care about sharpness, but it's annoying to get half my images out of focus. I also own the 85 f1.2L, and I only get a few unsharp images out of that one.

I'm wondering, should I just get a f1.4, or can my F1.2 be adjusted by Canon (or an indi lens mechanic)?

Thanks for your help
