Re: Every time I take a great photo of my kids...

I know the feeling. It seems like almost every time I take a great candid portrait of one of my kids, I notice food stains or crumbs around the mouth that I didn't notice at the time of the shot (or maybe I did... but just couldn't do anything about it).

I got pretty good at removing the crud real quick (physically if I have a damp towel at the time of the shot). I can usually take care of it in Lightroom using a combination of spot removal and clone stamp. Occasionally I will open it in Photoshop if I need to really get in there. Sometimes I just leave it... because that's the way they are much of the time.
