'Just Jane' night shoot (for aviation enthusiasts)

Lancaster NX611 'Just Jane' was built in April 1945 and entered RAF service too late to see active service. It's now the main attraction at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre. The museum is itself on the site of RAF East Kirkby which was an active Lancaster bomber station.

I joined Timeline Events (https://www.timelineevents.org) for a night shoot there.  Just Jane was floodlit and there were reenactors in authentic RAF uniform to add interest.

'Just Jane' by moonlight.

Time for a brew.

'Just Jane' is not airworthy (yet), but she does taxy on all four Merlins.  The airborne Lancaster is PA474, operated by the RAF (Battle of Britain Memorial Flight), photographed on a different occasion.
