I don't really care what the camera looks like other than I prefer understated colors

I'm open to trying out new control interfaces although from a muscle memory perspective I prefer as little change as possible.

I almost never use the back LCD for shooting so changes to the body that seem to push me toward being required to use it make me wary.

Still, I'd pretty much already decided that when my X-Pro 2 dies I'll replace it with one of the slr type bodies, X-T or X-H line. But, that's because of where my photographic interest has taken me in the time since I bought the X-Pro 2.

Speaking more broadly, I've been using my film camera a lot lately and I really appreciate how simple and direct it is. I appreciate how when a shot doesn't turn out it's because I made a mistake and the system is simple enough that I can figure out what I did wrong.

Even with the X-Pro 2 there are so many shots where the automation in the camera that I don't control made some decision that ruined or compromised a shot. I'm not enthusiastic about more automation and less direct control surfaces in new cameras.
