After cleaning, removing the dust, it still works like it was day one.
Turns out half of my batteries are now dead and half only last for 200 shots.
God I love this camera. It's a real pleasure to shot it, so much that I'm about to try to create some lenses profiles for Lightroom (if my damn printer is ok with printing the test charts...):
- 28mm f/2.8
- 50mm f/2.8 macro
- 35-105mm f3.5-4.5
- 70-210 beercan
- 100-300 f/4.5-5.6
If I manage to make it work, I'll share the profiles here for whoever would want them.

Excellent write up.  I share your love of the 7d.  I still have many images from mine that are in my favourites 'desktop carousel'.  I moved from the 7d to the A7Rii and while you can see the difference in detail you still have to love the results from the 7d.  Mine still gets an occasional outing as it's so nice to hold and shot, well for landscape action was always a challenge with it.
