We've been digging around under the hood of the Nikon Z50. We look at what Nikon's first APS-C mirrorless camera does and doesn't offer.
After a disappointing run with the WD Wireless Pro (it wouldn't save my Sony RAW files), I bought a Nexto Di 2730 with a 750GB HD on eBay for around $125.00.
It seems to work extremely well and fast; it copied about 500 jpgs and raw files direct from SD in about 7 min. Perfect for travel!!
The only issue I have with it is that apparently you can't charge the battery with a USB cable plugged into an outlet. It comes with a quite large and clunky wall adapter and that seems to be the only way to charge the internal battery.
I'm hoping someone here has some experience with this device and can tell me if I'm doing something wrong, or if I need to travel with the wall adapter. I'm really trying to travel light, every gram counts on my upcoming adventure.
