A6000: 70-200 mm F4 OSS v Minolta 80-200mm F2.8 APO HS
I have an a6000 and am currently shooting action in varying light with an LA-EA4 and Minolta HS APO 80-200 mm f/2.8.
I am considering 2 options:
1. Sell the minlota, the LA-EA4 and buy a Sony F4 70-200mm G OSS.
Does anyone have experience in using both the Minolta and the Sony F4? I realise I'd be losing a stop going to F4 but I think the LA-EA4 is already costing me half a stop and the auto-focus is far from optimal with the Minolta - only good for 2-3 fps and controlled by the LA-EA4. Given the minoltas and the LA-EA4 values, this shouldn't cost too much.
2. Sell the A-6000 (and kit lenses) the LA-EA4 and buy an refurbished A99ii.
The A99ii is obviously a far superior camera to the A-6000. I'm sure the results will be superb with the Minolta on an A99ii but I'm apprehensive about committing so much dough to A-mount.
I suppose my real questions are:
A6000 with F4 70-200mm V A99ii with Minolta HS APO 80 - 200m f/2.8 mm
Which is better for sports?
Ideally I'd like an A7Riii with a E mount Sony 70-200 mm f/2.8 but the cost is massive!
