Looking To Upgrade to Full Frame for Shooting Auroras

Hey everyone, I'm looking to upgrade to my first full frame DSLR for an upcoming trip shooting The Northern Lights, and I'm looking to get some opinions on camera bodies and lenses.

Options:

For bodies and lenses, I've been looking at the:

  • Canon EOS 6D Mark II
    • + Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM lens
  • Nikon D750
    • + Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8G AF-S ED lens
  • Sony Alpha II (Mirrorless)
    • + unsure yet

What I shoot with now:

My experience so far has been limited to shooting constellations and meteor showers using a tripod, shutter remote, and:

Canon EOS Rebel T3 + Canon EF-S 18–55mm lens

But I've always suffered from noise even when messing with the aperture/shutter speed/ISO combo, and I've been looking to get a faster lens for astrophotography. I don't have to stick to the Canon brand, by the way.

Any thoughts? Thanks!
