Had a chance to go to a soccer game this summer at Portland's Providence Park stadium with the #2 ranked Portland Thorns playing the #1 ranked North Carolina Courage so thought seeing what I could do with the KP and the 55-300 PLM would be fun. We sat about 30 rows up with an unobstructed view so this was a great place to see the game. From this vantage point, the photography was very easy as the camera didn't have to work too much to keep things in focus. Had I been at ground level on the sidelines would have been a better test. But still fun to practice photographing sports...
