Shut Up FireFox Pushing Updates?

Does anyone know of a registry change or other hack that will prevent FF 68.0.1 64-bit from continually asking to dl a new version?

I have it set so it doesn't automatically dl a new version, but FF no longer has (and hasn't for a while) the option to turn off update notifications altogether.

So is there any way to force FF to go back to not badgering about updates?

Thanks.

Windows 7 Pro 64-bit

And no, I won't debate whether I _should_ always update FF. The last time I did, it wiped my profile completely, and I had to reconstruct almost everything. My old profile was still there, but, when I tried to use it, FF refused, saying the profile was for an older version - which it was - and so I couldn't use it. I won't go through all that again. ( I was able to recover my bookmarks - mostly - but the instructions for recovering passwords etc. didn't work.)
