Canon R 1.2.0 - still any banding in pushed shadows?

Hi there.

I heard that FW update 1.2.0 solved banding issue of Canon R raw files in case they pushed a lot especially in deep shadows. Could you please confirm it for R cameras with 1.2.0 FW and newer?

And could you please share underexposed raw files for my personal examination (dual pixels raws are very welcome)? Files can be uploaded on to dropbox or google drive for example.

BTW it is not the case caused by artificial light and electronic/EFC shutter (in that case the pattern is regular and on the samples below it is not).

Thanks in advance!

P.S. I do a lot of cityscapes with very bright street lights, so quite often I have to push shadows a lot. BTW manual blending is not always applicable for scenes with water flows and light reflections so pushing is more preferable.

I should add some examples here (open in full screen mode please). All these images are dated *before* release of FW 1.2.0

#1 shows some magenta banding (lines) on the left side in the dark area (image from DPreview ISO invariance samples).

#1

#2 is craw (compressed raw) that also shows lossy compression artifacts AND banding (horisontal lines) - from DPreview gallery as well.

#2

#3 has purple and greenish lhorizontal lines on the left in mid tones region (taken by me on a sample camera at PhotoExpo 2019 in Moscow, Russia).
