Re: I am back shooting Fuji

Steve - welcome back to Fuji land.
Reading the thread so far, I am surprised that no-one has mentioned the 16-55mm - apart from your own reference in your original post.
Leave out the 14mm and it would cover all of the other lenses that you used to own.
It is - as many on this forum have attested - truly superb. Yes, heavy-ish - but compared to three primes? Yes, expensive - but add the price tags of all those primes together. And yes, in this case, genuinely, "a bag of primes".
For street, on the X-T3, it remains discreet - at least, IMHO - and it makes life a great deal simpler when "that shot" lurches into view: "Sorry, would you mind holding it just there, while I dig the 23 1.4 out of my bag?"
(I own the X-T3, and 16-55 and 23 1.4, inter alia. The last I love, but use less and less.)
For me - and of course, YMMV - the 16-55 is the foundation of my Fuji system. It is, quite simply, one of the best lenses I have ever used.
Good luck in your decision!
Chris
Chris,
Thanks for your input. I had considered the 16-55 as part of the latest X-H1 bundle. I think the weight when shooting threw me off. With either the 23/1.4 or the 18-55 I think I could just take one of them out and walk around with only the one lens and feel I have a really light bundle. With the 16-55/2.8 I would always have the weight on the camera. So I will give it some thought because I don't want to buy a lot of different lenses until I have shot with it for a while. Also as I think I mentioned this will actually be my smaller/lighter mirrorless system. I have several FF mirrorless that have heavier FF fast primes and f/2.8 zooms like I had on my DSLR before selling it.
