Upgrading from 'R' lenses? [Gear Acquisition Syndrome]

I currently have an OMD M10.2 body, and both of the 'R' lenses [14-42 & 40-150]

I took this kit [along with my venerable FZ-50] on a transatlantic round trip a couple of years back - and I was pleased with most of the daylight pictures, and even had some unexpectedly nice results indoors with the 40-150 [photos of the National Symphony & passenger chorus] despite subdued light and slow lens.

There  were sometimes [interior architecture] that I would have liked to have a slightly wider lens - that is offered by both 'pro' lenses

Both pro lenses are brighter than the 'R' lenses, particularly at the long end of each.

So, if I was to purchase one pro lens, which would be the better upgrade?

12-40 to just replace the 14-42 'R'?

12-100 for 'one lens' solution? [and still bring the 'R' lenses as they are small?] I did not find the lens unreasonably sized with the M10 body as I tend to support the lens with my left hand anyway.
