I don´t think sensor resolution matters nearly as much as, for example, lens sharpness.

I also wouldn´t compare that with smartphone shots, as tiny sensors have pretty terrible IQ at pixel level, which of course shows in large(r) prints. But with APS-C or FF, it doesn´t matter much whether you´ve shot with 25 or 50 MP, if you don´t crop heavily.

he can tell the difference in that video.  and he gets on the real laaege format advantage, better glass available.
