Hi there

I just read about your problem with your K-50 and the aperture block failure. Some years ago I posted this fix for my K-30 which requires no tools or disassembly. Since then my K-30 camera works without any errors. But I had luck with my copy. Not always will this fix help, but why not give it a try? I guess the K-30 and K-50 have all the same issue with their aperture block when this failure occurs.

Cheers!

It is just a temporary fix for my K-30 which started to have black frames after 60,000 clicks. I take it as some kind of massages for my K-30 before exercises, but later find them too troublesome and could cost some lost of photo opportunities, especially impromptu ones.
