My very first attempt at Macro Photography.

1. NX1 / 60mm-Macro
2. Time: Night (very dark)
3. Lighting: UV (Consumer Quality - 100 )
Subject: One Flower from a Pink (yes pink, not blue) Crape Myrtle Tree. Two different pictures from the same Flower.
4. Post: DxO PhotoLab 2, RAW, Standard Correction, EXIF [metadata] preserved, hover over pic to expose.
5. VERY interested in constructive criticism.
6. For a good laugh: UV light was marketed for a very different purpose:

[Or the correct market if my pictures are absolute pure $hit )

Hey Tu Vu,

They definitely do look like they were taken in the middle of the night, a very eerie glimpse of Nature. I pushed the second one to see into it a little further with my super eyes. This is what they saw:

What do you think?

Ed

What do I think? Way better improvement.
Originally, was shooting LARGE spider (on web); spider's entire body emitting amazing florence light :-O. For 2 weeks, night air moved web with spider slightly back-n-forth, no way to take a 5, 10, 20 ,30 sec exposure :-|. Desperate to use UV with 60mm, the flower was the best I could find under UV lighting; though not even close to the spider.
Thank again Ed,
Larry
