Hi there

I just read about your problem with your K-50 and the aperture block failure. Some years ago I posted this fix for my K-30 which requires no tools or disassembly. Since then my K-30 camera works without any errors. But I had luck with my copy. Not always will this fix help, but why not give it a try? I guess the K-30 and K-50 have all the same issue with their aperture block when this failure occurs.

Cheers!

Thank-you. I read this - actually responded to the thread at some stage - and am using that method to get the K50 going again. However, the problem seems to be getting worse quickly so I'm planning to use M42 screw manual lenses for now while I decide what to do in the long-run.
