As the lines (fat and thin) become closer together you approach better alignment between contrast and resolution. A VERY good thing.

I thought bokeh quality, or how well astigmatism was corrected to be more precise, is indicated by the difference between dotted and straight lines (meridional vs sagittal) not thin vs thick (45 vs 15lpmm) lines.
