Re: ISO dial thoughts?

I've used Pentax for many years and never had an ISO dial, and now I have the X-T100 with no separate ISO dial.

What I've done is set the programmable dial on the X-T100 to be the ISO dial.

On the X-T100, I have set up three auto ranges:

  • 200-400 for bright / outside
  • 400-3200 for action with decent lighting, evening
  • 640-6400 for interior, low light

It would only be in special situations that I would choose a higher ISO.

I have found that ISO6400 still produces excellent results for me with minimal noise.
