Using the 2-step electronic viewfinder is not really a problem, trust me. I personally owned the Sony RX100 IV with the same system, but also the VI with the one-step system and really, this is not the thing that should be taken into account in the purchase decision. I think we are giving too much importance to this detail on the Internet. In use, I do not see any problem.

For anybody who understands the engineering fragility inherent to popup EVFs (and the need to future repairs, etc.) it is indeed one thing that should be taken into account in the purchase decision.

Compared to a built-in EVF (a la ZS200, although I would recommend that cam for other reasons) these popup thingies will also "help" you miss many shots, as I discovered myself.
