24p is the cinematic frame rate. Most movies are shot in 24p. It has a different look than 30p.

ALL-I is compression (or lack thereof). Every frame is a key frame. You can literally edit down to the individual frame.

I guess it's kind of remarkable that the 80D has so much there at that price point. Even so, this will be a tough decision for 80D users to "upgrade" and give up some features.

I think there must be internecine battles between the EOS DSLR folks and the Cinema EOS people; mostly the Cinema EOS people throwing a fit about what the DSLR guys are about to put into the latest $1200 camera.
