Hi, I've had a Canon 100 D (rebel SL1 ) for a couple of years and I mostly love it, I have the following lenses...18-55 IS STM, 55-250 IS STM, and 50 1.8 prime. I've got a bit of birthday money to spend, and can get a 800D (rebel T7i ) body for about £420 in UK, I'm wondering if you guys and gals think this is a more worthwhile upgrade than getting more lenses and sticking with 100D body. I do all kinds of photography, from landscapes to wildlife, macro to sports, travel and city scapes. The one area I think would be a big upgrade with the 800 body is the better AF features, maybe my keeper rate will improve...? I do however love the lighter end of the Canon range so please no suggestions to save up for a full frame, I would like something that's not too much bigger or heavier than the 100 if possible.
Hi.. I'm quite happy with my 800D but wish it were a 7D mk iii However what makes the difference is the glass I use. I mostly do birds..
