Re: A7R IV as wildlife camera to save weight?

I'm asking myself the same question, and there's a new kid in town, the ASP-C 70-350 G, which gives a 105-525mm range. It's only 625g and inexpensive. Coupled with the R4's 665g, the total weight will be 1290g, which is incredible, and you get 26mp, also that lens has the latest AF technology using the XD motor, so it's actually even faster than the 200-600g.

What I'm saying is that I would consider both the 200-600g and the 70-350g (aps-c). If I need the best range and quality, the 200-600 will give me 900mm but it will be heavy. If I need great portability, the 70-350 will still give 525mm in a lightweight package.
