I only bought mine two days ago, replacing my Panasonic LX100.  My initial impressions of the camera are very good.  The biggest step forward for me is focusing ...  you can look through the viewfinder and decide if you are happy with the points of focus selected by the camera.  If not, you just touch the screen with your thumb (while you continue looking through the viewfinder) and select a focus point.  You can drag it around.  Once your chosen point is selected, the camera tracks it, allowing you to recompose if necessary.  Works brilliantly for me (same kind of photography as you).
