I thought about the Sony 10-18 mm which has OSS but I think for the price of $799 I might be better off getting the Tamron 17-28mm for $899.  I took a look at the Sigma 16 mm  and I like it. I need to physically go to a store and hear the motor noise to see if it's going to be a problem or not. Seems silly but I didn't get the smaller kit lens because I didn't like the power zoom noise.  Thanks.
