For my part, I can only say: been there, done that, didn't like the results. I had a J5 and still have a V3. Put both of them on the Sigma lens, which looks a bit silly but works "see image).

I also had N1s. The V was kicked away first. Only the J remains as souvenir.

That's why I say "have the AF problem". It's bug from engineers' designing desktop.

However, I was born in fim era. There is no autofocus at all. The MIR 1000mm f/11 is the only super telephoto that one could affort. I have to give it my sweat, tears and blood so that I can get 3-4 photo back.

The N1 is better than film photography, right?
