A PD ("power delivery") charger or PD battery pack. USB-C cable, both ends (any will do).

No need to buy the Canon accessory. Any brand charger with the USB-C PD implementation will do. This is the latest technology, and it is a standard. Canon is on the frontier here, and it is not proprietary.

Any USB-C to USB-C Cable will do? Doesn't need to be PD Capable?

If so, it is great news so i don't need to buy the super expensive canon USB charger thingy.

You can .. but at the snailing pace ..

...

The PD charger have the higher "pushing" voltage, 9-20 volts. All USB chargers have only the fixed 5.0 volts. The difference charging time may like 30-40 minutes vs 3-4 hours.

PD charger plays with Li (type) battery intrinsic characteristics. While it has 3.7-3.8v working voltage, it can be charged with 5v - 7v charger. But the higher charging voltage, the higher exploding chance (higher volt = higher charging current = higher heat producing & faster chemical reaction). The PD compliant device must be able to keep these malignant side effects within limit.
