Seasonal Dry Spells
1

Do your photography dry spells sometimes coincide with the four seasons?  Do you combat it by shooting indoors more where it is more comfortable, or do you simply put the camera down and wait for the next season? What's your most "creative" season?

I'll start. My typical dry spell is summer: many days 115 degrees outside with harsh light and hard shadows. The camera is sometimes too hot to touch. I typically put the camera away until the first hints of fall colors.

My creative season is autumn, followed closely by winter. I prefer cloudy day shooting. I guess I'm living in the wrong region of the USA (315+ days of sunshine here 😊).

What's your favorite/least favorite seasons for photography?
