Repairing D750 with water damage, or file insurance claim?

Hey there friends!

I was shooting a wedding last night and during some photos in a shallow creek, I knelt down just enough to get the D750 at my hip dipped in water. After removing the battery and cards overnight, and wiping out a little bit of water, the camera will turn on, but I can't take any photos, autofocus won't work, can't access menu, etc.

The command dial has also been spinning loose for awhile, rather than locking in place until the button on top is pressed...which means is often spins to modes other than what I want to shoot.

Should I pay my $500 insurance deductable and get a new camera, or invest in repairing these issues?

Thanks for your feedback!
