Alpha Capricornids - Composite
10

To all,

I finally finished my first composite from the marathon of eight nights of meteor photograph in late July and early August. I took over 55,000 images using 6 cameras.  The underlying background is a mosaic of two images taken with a 6D2 and Sigma 28mm f/1.4 Art lens. Each individual image was 10 seconds long at f/1.6 using ISO 1600.  This composite contains 29 meteors. It is possible a few Anthelion meteors crept into the composite since they "share" this area of the sky.  There are several Alpha Capricornid fireballs.  The best of the whole viewing period was the one in the lower right.  It lit up the sky briefly.

Don't forget to look at the image at 100 percent.

Thanks for looking,

Wade
