Being in my mid-fifties I find the mechanical IS helps a lot more than IBIS does.

I got you beat - I’m 72. I originally had the X-H1, which has IBIS. The thing made a strange clunking sound when turned on and off. I don’t even notice when IS is active on the RF24-105. I thought the X-H1 joystick would be great, but the drag N’ drop focus on my RP is 10X faster. Plus, focus-lock in dim light is rock solid.
