We've been digging around under the hood of the Nikon Z50. We look at what Nikon's first APS-C mirrorless camera does and doesn't offer.
I recently dropped my Sony a7rii with a zeiss 55mm attached and it popped off but with the part that mounts still locked into the camera. I need help on knowing the appropriate price I should be paying to get it fixed so I do not get ripped off. I can post more pictures.
It depends if there's any hidden damage may have occurred as a result of the drop. Lenses can get knocked out of alignment, parts may have been bent out of shape. The amount of damage won't be known until a service tech has looked at the lens.
The repair cost can exceed the cost of a brand new lens or, if you're very lucky, a few hundred bucks.
