X-H1 quick IBIS question

OK - so "da Benster" is having a brain fart here and I've looked at the manual.

It's obvious I'm either overlooking something here, but here goes.

OK, so I have the 18-55 attached to my X-H1 (with lens-based IS off).  When I look at the X-H1 menu, the part where it says IS mode is grayed out.  When I turn on the switch on the 18-55 to initiate IS, the X-H1 menu is now accessible.

But this begs the question (at least for me), how does one engage the IBIS on the X-H1 when you have the lens IS turned off (because it's grayed out in the menu)?

And also, does the X-H1 have dual IS based coordination - meaning, both the IBIS and lens-based IS work together to add increased stabilization?

Again, I'm a newby with the X-H1, but I realize I may be overlooking something.

So in summary...

1.  With the 18-55 lens based IS turned off, I cannot access the IS within the X-H1 menu.  When I flip the switch to ON on the 18-55, then the menu becomes available.

2.  How does one engage IBIS if that's what one wants instead of the lens-based IS on the 18-55?
