Hi!

I´m going to Innsbruck in the Austrian alps in June and wondered if that is a good time to be there to capture the milkyway? Will it be alligned, will it be dark enough and so on? I´ve never done "proper" milkyway photography so maybe there is something else i need to consider? All answers and tips are appreciated!

Cheers

Do you really mean June? That is quite a bit until then ... Anyway, in Sept will be last opportunity. Aafterwards the core of the MW is not visible ubtil March.
June is certainly a great time for MW photography. Make sure:
- no moon
- no (or better: as little as possible light pollution). Check: https://www.lightpollutionmap.info
